Helping Your Handbag Into Spring

Working in the fashion industry has a lot of perks. Editors frequently get gifted expensive bags, dresses, and shoes, PR reps brush shoulders with the rich and famous, and even interns sometimes get to attend the fashion shows of their dreams. But my favorite perk by far, is the ability to experiment with my work wardrobe in a way no other industry allows. I can wear crop tops and fringe and flatforms and statement necklaces  without fear of office ridicule, or worse, breaking dress code rules and expectations. Not everyone is so lucky, however. So for those fashionistas sticking to a strict diet of business attire, here is an easy way to add some punch and personality to your everyday look.

Whether you're a black leather tote or a mini bucket bag kind of girl, there is always a way to spice up your handbag. Wrap a scarf around the handle or add a keychain to the strap to make your classic purse feel like new again.
