An Easy Upgrade

If you haven't already noticed, I am a big fan of accessories and clothes with funky or quirky touches. Wide cut trousers in a palm tree print? Check. A classic gray blazer with striped sleeves? Check. Multiple clutches, shoes, and wallets with eyes or faces? Check. So it should come as no shock that after discovering the work of Anya Hindmarch, I became almost instantly hooked.

Hindmarch is known for pumping up her classic handbags with cheeky patches and painted details. Every girl needs an evening clutch, but did you know you also absolutely need one with eyes and a hand throwing up the peace sign? Because you totally do. However, with totes starting at just over $1,000 and clutches starting at just under $800, not everyone is willing to shell out the money for Hindmarch's statement items. As a solution she is now offering a line of leather stickers in her favorite designs that you can put on everything from your Anya Hindmarch handbag to your phone case to your Forever21 clutch.

The stickers are part of a collaboration with Charlotte Stockdale, a British stylist and longtime directed of i-D (although she recently left to work with Moscow-based art and fashion magazine Garage). These two women have always embraced the fun and whimsical aspects of fashion, that many designers forget about. Who else would think to make leather stickers featuring eggs, googly eyes, and the word 'phwoar'?

You can shop the collection at a number of retailers including Shopbop, Net-a-Porter, and of course
