When I visited Paris for the first time I had no interest in seeing the Louvre. I deemed it too big, too crowded, and not worthy of my short 48 hours in the city. I did however, insist on dragging my friends to 31 rue Cambon and begged them to come with me to a number of places from Parisian Chic, the guide book by Ines de la Fressange. My friends adamently said no and instead convinced me to visit the most touristy parts of Paris, which I have to say were pretty spectacular. But for those of you who, like me, want to visit a city and see the places the locals go and do the things not everyone plans to do, there is finally a travel guide to top them all - the Vogue City Directory.
Vogue's City Directory is a compilation of Vogue editor and fashion figure recommendations for restaurants, hotels, shopping, and activities in the world's most fashionable cities. So far, the directory lists recommendations for New York, Paris, Milan, London, Shanghai, and Los Angeles, and has gathered recs from the likes of Anna Wintour, Grace Coddington, Alexa Chung, Gigi Hadid, and Claudia Schiffer, to name a few.
Whether you're looking to plan your weekend trip to LA, or you're just curious where Kate Moss likes to do her vintage shopping, the directory is the best place to go. It serves as an insiders guide to touring the fashion capitals. And because it is online and ever growing, fashionable travelers can avoid the fear of pulling out an obvious map or guide book and looking like lost tourists, and instead just whip out their phones.
The only downside? My travel wishlists have now almost doubled in size, while my budget has not. I can live on ramen for a month if it means getting to have afternoon tea at the Wolseley in London with Manolo Blahnik, right?
It's that time of year again, when your hair can't seem to lose the static and your lips are perpetually chapped. With all the precipitation we've been experiencing you'd think some of it would stick to our skin, but unfortunately it hasn't. However, thanks to Bite Beauty now there is a way to truly fix your flaky lip issue, and it doesn't involve applying lip balm every 10 minutes.
The Bite Beauty 5 Night Fix for Lips is a deep therapy cure for winter's pesky dry lip problem. The two step kit comes with a hydrating lip scrub to remove dead skin and a super thick leave-on lip mask to replenish your delicate skin's natural moisture levels.
Vogue.com's Jenna Rennert tested Bite's kit earlier this month and was far from disappointed. "Within on day, my lips started to feel like lips again. By day five, they looked dramatically healthier," she reported. And as daunting as a five-day lip program may seem, I'd be willing to bet it's actually easier than most other parts of your nightly routine. After washing your face, use the hydrating lip scrub to exfoliate the area. Next, slather on the leave-on lip mask, which is made from food-grade ingredients, and hit the hay. And that's it! It is literally easier than one, two, three. And with a $15 price tag, what reason can you come up with to really say no to healthier, happier lips?

Fashionistas everywhere rejoice! Rodarte has answered our footwear prayers and created a six-piece sneaker collection. Hallelujah!
Rodarte designers Laura and Kate Mulleavy partnered with Italian shoe brand Superga to make their capsule collection, which is available to shop at Superga now. The sneakers are a delightful combination of Superga's simplistic class and Rodarte's funky whimsy. The collection features mesh overlay, embossed leather snakeskin, and denim detailing that compliment the ease of Superga's base shoe design.
As the person who introduced the Rodarte duo to Superga, Gia Coppola was the natural first choice to model the collection. "The shoes look great! [Rodarte] really knows how to make a fun, new twist but still keep [the sneaker] understated enough to wear with anything," Coppola told Refinery29's Ellen Hoffman. And she is absolutely right. Rodarte's Superga collection can't help but give off a -too-cool-for-school vibe that every sneaker fan will want to rock.
Check out the collection below before heading to Superga for a pair of your own. I wouldn't wait too long though, as they're sure to be some of the 'it' shoes for Spring 2015.
