Military Women Take On Modeling

This past Wednesday 14 military women took to the runway at Lincoln Center to strut their stuff in a fashion show sponsored by Little Black Dress Wines and Fatigues to Fabulous. After getting the full model treatment, the women walked the runway in black dresses from designers like Nicole Miller, Ralph Lauren, and DKNY. Amidst the craziness and spectacle of NYFW, these women help remind us why fashion is so important and the transformative power it truly holds.

Fatigues to Fabulous helps military women adjust to life post service. They do everything from interview preparation to job training to giving workplace fashion advice. F2F (as it's called for short) aims to raise awareness of the problems many women face after finishing their military service. Ronnie Den, co-creater of the enormously successful Red Dress Heart Truth campaign, started F2F with the hope of improving the lives of our military women and really giving thanks for all they do for us.
